Sexist, out of proportion girl drawing

Not an original image, just an exercise in drawing girls with short bodies and big guns.
I'm following this tutorial by the excellent Ron Davey.

This is the first drawing I have attempted with my 'Wacom Bamboo fun' tablet. (God that is a stupid name.)

I brought the tablet over a year ago and I didn't get along with it at first. My first attempts could have been mistaken for the work of a vaguely distracted ten year old on drugs working on an etch-a-sketch. However I decided to have one more try before condemning the poor device to a life gathering dust in the corner of my room. I'm pleased I did because this experiment has worked out well so far.

I was pleasantly surprised by the 'pencil and rubber' effect achieved by using brushes and erasers set at low opacities. (Is that how you spell opacities?).

Also I've also just worked out how to turn on the pressure sensitivity and smoothing in photoshop, with makes a big difference. If I get on well with my £60 model I'll be saving up to buy one of these £2K monsters.

More pics to come as I attempt to colour the poor girl.
